STREET-15 will identify European and international School Street examples and characterise their contextual features. The benchmarking framework will classify interventions according to their duration, scope, scale, governance structures and levels of community participation, while documenting implementation approaches, success factors and barriers.
Ten cases will be examined in greater depth through interviews. The analysis will explore implementation conditions including local governance, regulatory support and community involvement, with particular attention to children and young people.
HVL leads the benchmarking framework, the identification process and the preparation of the methodology and case protocol. Systemica provides data-management support, while the University of Westminster and the University of Naples Federico II contribute theoretical and methodological input and support the comparative analysis. Cooperation partners may suggest relevant examples as potential case studies.
The Benchmarking Report with Mapping and 10 Case Studies is planned for M18. The cases are currently under development and should not be presented as selected or confirmed until the consortium has completed the identification process.
